| Our Company Mission includes the statement “Support Our Communities.” This commitment has grown over the years and we now provide a fixed percentage of our annual profit to charitable endeavors. Since 2006, we have committed almost $2.3 million to charity.
Our charitable work is employee-directed. Our employees select our charitable focus and all employees are welcome to join their local charitable giving committee where giving decisions are made.
We fulfill our charitable commitment in various ways:
- We provide in-kind construction services to non-profit organizations
- We make cash donations to non-profit organizations and to our own corporate foundation—the Deacon Charitable Foundation
- We encourage employee participation in charitable giving activities and community service projects sponsored by our company
- We have an Employee Matching Gift Program
